Flanders
Highly Qualified Workers: €48,912 annually.
Young Highly Qualified Workers (<30 years), Nurses, and Teachers: €39,129.60 annually.
Intra-Corporate Transferee (ICT) Specialists or Trainees: €48,912 annually.
Managerial Positions/ICT Managerial Positions: €78,259 annually.
European Blue Card Holders (for recruitments post-May 1, 2024): €63,586 annually.
Professional Athletes, Certain Referees, and Coaches with Professional Athlete Contracts: €101,019 annually.
Coaches without Professional Athlete Contracts: €50,509.50 annually.
Performing Artists: €42,313 annually.
For occupations experiencing shortages, considered as medium-skilled roles, compensation should align with the "minimum qualification" category as per the relevant joint committee. The gross salary encompasses the monthly wage and benefits like meal vouchers, eco-vouchers, sports/culture vouchers, and employer contributions to hospitalization and group insurance.
Wallonia
Highly Qualified Workers: €51,613 annually.
Young Highly Qualified Workers (<30 years): €41,290 annually.
ICT Managers: €66,738 annually.
ICT Specialists: €53,390 annually.
ICT Trainees: €33,370 annually.
Brussels-Capital Region
Managerial Positions: €79,766.40 annually.
Highly Qualified Workers: €44,441.28 annually.
Performing Artists: €37,034.40 annually.
European Blue Card Holders: €56,976 annually.
ICT Managerial Positions: €65,522.40 annually.
ICT Specialists: €54,122.40 annually.
ICT Trainees: €31,336.80 annually.
Professional Athletes (adjusted annually on July 1): €88,320 annually.
Only the base monthly salary is taken into account (matching code 1 in the DmfA declaration). For posted workers, only the gross monthly salary is considered, which may include a monthly allowance for posting to Belgium.
Employers must ensure that salaries for both new applications and existing work authorizations meet these updated thresholds starting January 1, 2025. Non-compliance may lead to requests for additional information from the Economic Migration Service.
